Monash Motorsport entered the Siemens 3D Challenge, which was designed to test the innovative skills of engineers with increasingly more widely accessible 3D printing technology. In light of our recent work with CSIRO on titanium additive manufactured parts, we entered our front upright design in the ‘Future of Manufacturing’ category where the design was judged on its creativity, originality and functionality.
MMS are proud to announce that we have won the Siemens 3D Challenge in this category and are the delighted recipients of a CubeX 3D printer! We’d like to thank Siemens for their fantastic support, as well as CSIRO Lab 22 for their continued partnership as we test the possibilities of this new technology.
